She exceeded our expectations with her commitment, responsiveness, and keen eye for design. While there are plenty of skilled and reliable IDs one can choose from, what sets Eva apart is her ability to truly listen to her clients and understand their unique needs and preferences.
Eva came highly recommended by my brother, whom she had beautifully furnished a dark, sleek and cosy home for. Given my brother’s demanding and design-obsessed nature, we were naturally curious and intrigued about the person who could deliver his vision to such a meticulous level of detail.
And Eva did not disappoint. She exceeded our expectations with her commitment, responsiveness, and keen eye for design. In contrast to the dark and elegant home she had designed for my brother, our brief was very different, which I believe is also testament to her wide-ranging design talents.
When we decided to renovate our 32-year old home, we knew we had a daunting task ahead of us. We entrusted her with a painstakingly long list of design and logistical requests, which she beautifully delivered and so much more. From keeping some of our furniture at our old home during the renovation to minimize moving costs, to considering all our needs and working tirelessly to create a look and style for our home that we could be happy and proud of. We knew we wanted a minimalistic, warm and functional space, but Eva also gave us something unique and different from the typical Scandi look.
In particular, one of the bigger design challenges was combining two of the rooms to maximize the space usage. Eva suggested a unique solution of building a hidden door into the carpentry that stretched across both rooms (leading to the en suite bathroom), which was both practical, cost-saving and visually delightful. Throughout the renovation process, our list of stressful requests and changes grew, but she showed great patience, skill and attention to detail during our extensive journey together, which we deeply appreciated.
As is typical of any renovation, hiccups and touch-ups are part and parcel of the process. But what really put our minds at ease was her level of responsiveness. Whenever we highlighted a snag, Eva carefully and promptly addressed our concerns, scheduling the fixes needed quickly. As a result, the overall renovation process felt remarkably smooth and a lot less stressful than what we initially anticipated. Knowing that we could rely on her to handle our concerns and demands with care and competence was a significant source of relief for us.
She also managed to complete 80-90% of the renovation within three months as requested, allowing us to move in promptly. Even after we had paid in full, she continued to address our concerns and make changes speedily to ensure our satisfaction.
While there are plenty of skilled and reliable IDs one can choose from, what sets Eva apart is her ability to truly listen to her clients and understand their unique needs and preferences. She took the time to get to know us and our vision for our home, and then went above and beyond to bring that vision to life in a way that surpassed anything we could have imagined.
We consider ourselves incredibly lucky to have worked with Eva on our renovation project. She has given us not just a beautiful home, but a space that truly reflects who we are as a family. We will be enjoying our new space for many years to come, and we know that we have Eva to thank for making that possible.
