It was our blessing meeting Eunice Lam at one of the ID events, and engaging her services to design our first home. She was the first of many IDs we met, and she clearly stood out among the rest with her creativity and technical expertise.

She even accompanied us to select our lighting, blinds/curtain choices and provided sound advice for other furniture to create a cohesive look for our home. We were introduced to Brendan Wong@ Tradehub by a close friend. After seeing her renovation we were very impressed. Our previous renovation was something we weren’t pleased with. From the time we met Brendan with the ideas and budget, he listened patiently and explained everything very clearly. He was transparent with the costs as well. He was also very prompt with updates and most importantly kept to the timeline which can be an issue if you are doing renovation while staying in the premises. From the start till the end of the renovation, everything went smoothly and there were updates about works done each day. We felt at ease. It’s important to build a good rapport with your ID and it was easy communicating with him.Brendan knows his work very well and we were very impressed with the detail perspective drawing that there was nothing to change. We liked the very first one he presented. He ran through the drawing in details. He also personally came down to check on the works to ensure they were on schedule. We had a pleasant experience working with Jolin who understands our design needs and could reconcile our proposed design with our practical needs. She has good design sense and could suggest ideas to elevate the design of our envisioned home.

She is also responsive and capable of delivering within timeline. Despite some hiccups as expected of any Reno journey, she could come up with decent solutions to address the issue, and is strong at thinking on her feet.

Excellent Experience with Joash Ng from Weiken

We engaged Joash from Weiken for our 5-room HDB renovation in Simei, and the experience was fantastic from start to finish. He quickly understood our lifestyle and preferences, and translated them into a design that was both practical and beautiful.

Joash was patient and transparent throughout the process, always suggesting cost-effective solutions and keeping us updated on progress. Despite the usual renovation challenges, he handled everything professionally and ensured the project was completed ahead of schedule.

The final result exceeded our expectations — the home feels both luxurious and comfortable, with every space thoughtfully designed. We’ve received many compliments from friends and family. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a designer who truly listens and delivers quality work.

Summary: Engaged Derrius 3 times for renovation and the journey was smooth sailing for all.

It is my 3rd time engaging Derrius and Weiken for renovation in a short span of 7 years.

This time round, it is for a small unit that is already quite well furnished and does not require a lot of renovation. Prior to engaging Derrius for this project, he came down to the unit with me and helped me have a look at the items that need to be done up.

And once again, he was upfront and honest about what needed to be done and what do not.

The renovation started promptly and was done in a few weeks as agreed since I needed this unit fast.

As mentioned in my previous review, Weiken isn’t the cheapest in the market. But they are the most reasonably priced in terms of the quality of workmanship. My unit which I have been staying for 2 years have no scratches on the vinyl flooring despite my kids cycling around and riding the e-kart every day. Walls and carpentry are also in perfect condition although my kids are not the most well behave when it comes to taking care of fixtures.

It was honestly a great pleasure as a consumer to have found a trustworthy ID who always deliver and do not overpromise. Will definitely engage his service again.

Derrius was our Interior Designer for our home renovation project with Weiken. If we could describe him in three words, it would be: fast, responsive, reliable.

Throughout the whole renovation process, he was patient and has never rushed or pressured us into making a choice that we were unsure about. His priority was always for us to make a decision that we will love for our home.

In fact, we have never once heard anything negative from him and feel comfortable enough to share our adventurous ideas with him. It’s also most helpful that he gives us realistic cost estimates for any add-ons that we’re considering so that we as homeowners don’t drift too far off from our budget in our excitement.

He has a keen eye for aesthetics and you can always count on his expert opinion to narrow down the best choices whenever you feel overwhelmed after looking at 100 colour charts.

Derrius has gone above and beyond our expectations, often replying to us or providing us with video updates regarding the progress of our project on the weekends or after office hours even without us asking him to, showing his dedication to the customer satisfaction. If there is anything that we’re not satisfied with, we can count on him to swiftly make arrangements to fix them up.

Even after the completion of our project, we continued asking him minor questions that we missed out as new homeowners, and Derrius continued to assist us with his quick responses.

Derrius has demonstrated his vast experience as an Interior Designer and it clearly shows. Needless to say, our overall renovation experience with Derrius was smooth and we had lots of fun. We absolutely loved that he brought our vision to life and we highly recommend him as your ID.
