“The homeowner is a meticulous person who loves tidiness. Which is why a classic design emphasizing on comfort and ease of maintenance is adopted. The entire flooring has been replaced with anti-slip tiles. Similar tiles are adopted across the house to integrate the entire living space as one.




As the layout of the house is rather elongated, the house tends to be dimmer. Which is why the floor tiles and carpentry are of a lighter and gentle tone. A portion of the display cabinet is designed with a darker tone and paired with LED lighting to achieve the standout effect. The display cabinet incorporates the finer details like the colour pairing and grooves to enhance the entire outlook. Exuding a neat and comfortable vibe.”

“As the house has got a smaller floor area, we applied the lighter colour palettes to make the space feel more spacious but cosy at the same time. The wall between the kitchen and the living room was also hacked to make the space look even more spacious and airy.




Addtionally, we used different Floor and Wall finishes to create the distinction between the Kitchen and Living areas. With respect to the furniture, we chose Grey coloured ones, to bring out a gentle contrast, thus make it feel more “alive and dimensional”.




Last, but not least, you may notice a small Slope between the Living Area and Kitchen, as the homeowners were future-proofing the home for possible wheelchair access needs.”
