Have engaged weiken for my home reno and ID Joash Ng was appointed. He is very professional and cater very much to our needs by providing his expertise, his response was very swift whenever we have any queries that needs to be answered

I had a wonderful time working with Joash. He was very patient in explaining all the questions that we had, and was very responsive whenever we had any questions. We had a lot of changes along the way, but he was able to understand and accommodate to our needs as much as possible, if our ask is not possible, he would also explain and provide us alternatives.

Felt very safe leaving the renovation in his hands as he was detailed and would also check on the renovation physically. He will always remind us whenever we forgot to respond to him.

Would definitely introduce him to other friends that are interested in looking for ID and for future renovations.

We are very happy with Jake and the modern design he have created for our home. From the very beginning, he took the time to understand our needs and preferences, and translated them into a clean, stylish, and practical space that feels both elegant and comfortable.

We’re very grateful to have Sia Yu Cheng (Sia) as our interior designer for our first home. Thanks to his hard work, we managed to finish most of our renovation in just 2 months, before most of our neighbours even started their renovation works! This result is truly testament to how efficient he can be.

Even though we started looking for an ID quite late, and only confirmed the project with Sia after we got our keys, we knew from our first meet up with him that he would be a great fit for our project. Frankly, we did not have a high budget for renovation, and told him upfront that we would not do much carpentry. Despite these challenges, Sia definitely put a lot of effort into making sure we could achieve our dream look and functionality within the limited budget.

We were also quite clueless about laminates, schedules, and the necessities we would need to confirm before he could start work. Sia’s patience and expertise shone through here; he could answer every question we had about the different qualities of each material, cost-effectiveness, durability, and ease of upkeep. He also introduced us to his suppliers for bathroom suppliers, lighting, and doors, so that we knew exactly what we were getting for our house.

His experience and adaptability were also obvious when we reviewed our apartment with him and realised several differences from the blueprint. For one, there were many more beams than expected, which would affect aircon placement. More importantly, the washing machine tap was placed in a completely unexpected location, and the kitchen had a wall that we were instructed not to cover – even though we had already planned a cabinet there. While some designers would have panicked, Sia immediately started brainstorming about how he could adapt the design to (1) not block the cabinet; and (2) preserve what we wanted, which was storage space. After 20 minutes of collective brainstorming in the dark, he managed to come up with a fix. I was genuinely super impressed with him in that moment!

Sia never complained about how fickle minded we were, even though we definitely upped the difficulty for Sia along the way – for example, we decided to incorporate a huge bathtub into a tiny 3 room flat bathroom. Nevertheless, he remained super professional, helped to coordinate our million and one item deliveries, and even actively followed up with us after the handover to check if there were any outstanding defects to rectify (there weren’t).

All in all, I’m truly thankful for Sia’s hard work, and I hope more will recognise how fantastic of an interior designer he is!! I will certainly be recommending him to peers who are seeking a patient and hardworking ID who actually cares about what his clients wants 🙂 Thank you so much Sia!!

We had an amazing experience working with our interior designer, Damien from start to finish. From the very first consultation at Home by Hitcheed, he was professional, attentive, and incredibly detailed in every aspect of the renovation process.

What truly impressed us was his commitment to going through every single detail with us, from layout planning and material selection to carpentry finishes and lighting placement. Nothing was overlooked, and he was always patient in answering our questions and providing practical advice.

Most importantly, he managed the entire renovation timeline exceptionally well. Everything was well coordinated and executed smoothly, allowing us to move into our new home within just 2 months and just in time before Chinese New Year! That meant a lot to us and our family.

My 5-rm flat of over 20 years needed a rehaul and I decided to work with Derrius Koh from Weiken after chatting with a few IDs recommended by HomeMatch. Derrius was patient and very responsive in all our communications. His design for my home was so relaxing and cosy I can stay in all day. Despite the simplicity, there were still plenty of storage space for my practical needs. The landscaping he did for my TV console was the pièce de résistance, adding color to my living room. My mom got a similar tree for her own place after seeing mine. It was a pleasure working with Derrius. I had full trust in him and left him to run the project with minimal intervention.

Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with this renovation experience! Designer Eugene is very professional and easy to communicate with. The entire design process was smooth; he listened attentively to our needs and ideas and offered very constructive suggestions.

Eugénez has a great personality and is meticulous and thoughtful, considering many details in advance. The final design almost perfectly met our needs, being both practical and aesthetically pleasing, and optimized within our budget.

Overall, it was a very pleasant experience. If I need renovation services again in the future, or if I need recommendations for friends, I will definitely recommend them first.

We had Derrius as our ID and the experience with him was fuss-free and awesome. He was nice to talk to and his response was always prompt. Our current place was not near our new place so it was assuring when he provides us with constant updates during the renovation period. No delays in the timeline and everything was smooth. Sia also guided us through key decisions such as when choosing our laminates, carpentry, tiles, and flooring.

What is truly reassuring to us and where Sia shines the most is his ability to work well with his contractors and partners. He ensured that our requirements were communicated clearly and executed smoothly on-site. When issues arose during the renovation, he worked closely with his team to resolve them quickly.

Even when we revised our preferences at various stages, Sia remained flexible and supportive, ensuring that the renovation progressed smoothly with minimal disruption.

Looking back, we are happy that the home renovation went smoothly with no major issue and the handover was done on time as scheduled. We also appreciate Sia’s sincerity where he assured us that we could always approach and count on him if we encounter any issues in the future. All-in-all, we will definitely recommend Sia for anyone who is looking for an ID and who wants to renovate their house.
