We did our homework and found Weiken to be trustworthy and established. Though we went to other ID firms, we still utimately decided to choose Weiken. Weiken has many capable IDs. Unlike other firms, Weiken has portfolios of past projects for all the IDs. We looked through the works of all ID and decided to engage Jake. My spouse and I did not regret our choice. When we went to look at lightings, he would advise us on what was good and what was too expensive, helping us save costs. He was also very meticulous during the carpentry discussion, confirming with us in every aspect. We did not have a shopping day, but when our schedules permitted and we went to buy furniture, we would send pictures of those we shortlisted and Jake would advise us promptly.
Once the renovation started, Jake was very prompt in keeping us updated with photos, videos and texts. This was not our first house to be renovated and we never had updates like those. Hence we were very impressed with what he was doing.
During the renovation process, there were inevitable hiccups. Yet Jake was always ready to provide suggestions and solutions. When we had requests to drill items into the wall, he helped to make arrangements. When we had to leave early for other appointments, Jake actually stayed on to help inform the worker what and where to drill the items.
My spouse and I are very grateful to Jake. He had been very accommodating to our multiple requests throughout. We highly recommend Jake Chew from Weiken as he is very creative, dependable, sincere and looks after his clients’ interest. Renovating a home is usually a stressful event but I am thankful that Jake has made it less stressful and helping to turn our home into a beautiful one.
