JC also did his homework before our discussion and his efforts resulted in productive and effective discussions. After one month of working with him on my initial requirements, I decide to engage him to handle all my additional renovation works required (e.g. built-in furniture etc.) as I am impressed by his professionalism and easy going nature.
My two main requirements in looking for an ID are (1) Staying within my Budget (2) Professional Attitude. Joel Cheong (from Century Square Branch but now based at Oxley Biz Hub) whom I engage for my home renovation was able to meet my two requirements. Joel Cheong (JC) is a very patient and good-natured person as he listens to my ideas of what I wanted for my basic renovation. There were frequent changes due to various reasons and long hours were spent trying to conceptualise my requirements so that I did understood what I will get eventually. JC also did his homework before our discussion and his efforts resulted in productive and effective discussions. He did not shy away from his responsibility for areas that are not done properly and took actions to rectify any faults pointed out promptly. Like all home renovation, mine also had its fair share of issues and surprises but though it all, I am very grateful that JC took full responsibility as he promptly took charge and arranged for the issues to be resolved. In addition, there were changes in the design of my built-in furniture due to site constraints. Again JC did made the changes such that my original budget is not exceeded. JC will be the person that I will recommend to my friends if they are looking for a reliable and professional Interior Designer. Thanks JC and keep up the good work!
