We recently had the pleasure of working with Jake Chew, an excellent interior designer who helped us transform our resale flat into a cosy home. Overall, our experience with Jake was enjoyable, and he demonstrated a high level of professionalism, expertise, and dedication.
Jake was an absolute delight to work with – friendly, accommodating, and easy-going. He took the time to understand our preferences, and tight budget, and worked tirelessly to find creative solutions that met our needs. We appreciated his transparent and collaborative approach, and never felt pressured or upsold.
While there were some minor issues with the plumbing work, Jake was quick to respond and rectify the problems. We also needed multiple 3D renderings as the designs didn’t match our discussions. He took full responsibility for the mistakes and ensured that they were fixed promptly. We were impressed by his commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Jake was open to ideas and changes. He made us feel comfortable sharing our ideas and concerns with him, and his calm and composed demeanor made it easy for us to discuss even the most challenging aspects of the project, like major re-design of kitchen cabinets.
We were also impressed by Jake’s flexibility and willingness to adapt to our changing needs. He was always open to our feedback and suggestions, and worked with us to find solutions that met our evolving requirements.
Overall, we would give Jake a well-deserved 8/10. While there were some minor areas for improvement, we were impressed by Jake’s professionalism, expertise, and exceptional customer service. We would highly recommend him to others, particularly those on a tight budget who want a designer who will listen to their needs and work with them to find cost-effective solutions.
