Jake turned out to be the best interior designer we’ve worked with.

Jake regularly visits the site, even for a small project like ours. I think he came by at least 10 times to make sure everything was on track.

Like most people, we were initially cautious and skeptical about engaging any renovation company. But Jake (who was recommended by my wife’s friend) turned out to be the best interior designer we’ve worked with. We’ve previously worked with two other contractors, but none of them matched Jake’s service. Here’s why:

– He’s incredibly proactive with updates. We heard from him almost every day, and honestly, we rarely had to chase him for updates because he often beat us to it.
– Jake regularly visits the site, even for a small project like ours. I think he came by at least 10 times to make sure everything was on track.
– He’s super responsive. We often felt bad texting or calling him after hours or on weekends (since that’s when we were available due to our own work), but he always replied quickly.
– He doesn’t hard-sell or try to get us to add more work. In fact, there were times when he stopped us from going overboard and explained why certain things weren’t necessary, helping us save money.
– During the lighting and bathroom accessory stages, he guided us through everything. He helped us avoid overspending and stayed with us to make sure the final costs were within our budget.
– Before the project was completed, Jake did a thorough check. There were a few minor defects we didn’t catch, and while there were a couple of things he missed, they weren’t a big deal. At the end of the day, it’s our responsibility to check everything.
– Honestly, we were a bit troublesome, constantly making changes and adding things. Jake had to keep coordinating with his staff, but he was always patient and accommodating.

Overall, we are very happy with the results and Jake’s service. Highly recommend him!
