We engaged Lucas because he could produce a design that suited to our stated needs – communal style living, having plenty storage and our lifestyle patterns. The experience working with Lucas was a smooth journey. He was communicative and considerate about the details. He solved a beam issue with style. Initially the ugly beam posed an aesthetic challenge to the current design draft 1 he produced (not having seen the house yet). But after visiting the house, he assessed the situation and produced an aethetically pleasing solution which blends into the theme. Service and workmanship quality were handled well, despite minor issues observed in the form of scratches and laminate cuttings. Most outstanding quality is communication and consideration. One area that Lucas can improve on is the listing of outstanding items to be done. Don’t get me wrong. It’s still good but in the midst of being busy outstanding items might get burried in the many things. Lucas was also able to keep up with the budget and timeline and advises accordingly when the budget goes over.
