My wife and I approached three renowned interior design companies to provide us with their design concept. We decided to engage Germaine Neo from Weiken without too much hesitation after going through their design. When we first met her, we were a little skeptical in respect to her ability as she is just way too young and therefore lacking in experience and knowledge, I guess. However, we were proven wrong as she is an excellent ID because she brings creativity, attention to detail and a profound understanding of design principles when she went through her design concept with us. In addition, she has a knack for understanding our needs and translating them into designs that exceed our expectations. It’s common to encounter “hiccups” during the renovation phase, due to our negligence of course, and these can range from minor inconveniences to major setbacks. The great thing about Germaine is that she has this ability to cushion major ones and make them seem negligible. She is a very well-organized person based on how she planned the execution of the activities that involved in the renovation work, and she would update us on the progress on a regular basis. As far as I can remember, we didn’t once set in to check on the renovation work on site, apart from meeting the electrical guy, smart home guy…etc, during the renovation phase and that demonstrates our faith and trust in her. In addition, she was prompt in responding to our enquiries the whole week even when she was having her vacation. I think it is very unfortunate of her to have us as her clients.

In short, Germaine is a very organized, responsible and creative whom we have a positive interpersonal relationship with and it’s our blessing to have her as our ID. We have this belief that she will do well as an interior designer and beyond if she stays committed. We are also very thankful to have Emily Neo who functions as the site coordinator for our renovation activities. She was always there when we needed assistance.

Last but not least, we like Germaine’s design of our new house very much and we choose not to post any pictures of it.
