“For this project, the homeowners gave me the freedom to play and explore the interior, his main wish is to make the master room bigger and combine it with bedroom 2. It’s seemingly impossible to do so even after removing the wall between the two rooms as the walking space is still less than a door width space. In order to make the two rooms combined and have a decent walking space with walk-in wardrobes, I’ve decided to hack and shift the master room main door. By tilting the Master main door, I will achieve the ideal walking space between the two rooms which will then be able to house the walk-in wardrobe and study table.
A long fluted window is also designed to make the long hallway brighter ,at the same time it gives the privacy needed for the walk-in wardrobe room. A huge feature wall in the hallway using the same laminate as Tv feature is designed to bring the flow into the internal part of the house. Part of the feature wall then incorporates a hidden door to the entertainment room. To create a more visual fluidity throughout the interior, all corners are done with curves including the false ceiling.”
