I would like to commend Liz Ng, Senior Interior Designer, who served as our liaison for both our first home renovation in 2018 and our second in 2025. Liz has very good rapport with contractors, suppliers, and vendors — useful for our resale home, which came with more complex and unusual renovation needs, require more technical discussions to resolve issues.

• Problem-Solving: We really appreciated how her proposals always revolved around our practical requirements. When issues surfaced, she spotted them before we did — and resolved them quickly and effectively.
• Understanding: Liz took the time to understand our needs and constraints. You can genuinely feel the effort she puts in to make things clear to us, often through immediate hands-on sketches, diagrams, or sample materials that made decision-making easier.
• Professionalism: Even when problems arose with third-party vendors, Liz remained calm and professional. She handled those situations gracefully. She is also well equipped with renovation knowledge to better advise on the renovation requirements.

We engaged Marvin as our ID we loved how everything turned out! Marvin was extremely responsible and responsive. He also will always update us as soon as there were any progress of our renovations. Whenever we would go down to check on the place and point out certain concerns, he was quick to respond and expedite the changes to be made. We highly recommend taking on Marvin’s services!

We engaged Chloe at Weiken, to materialise our vision of transforming our living spaces to better suit our needs. This is our third time using Weiken, their carpentry has never disappointed us and other works have met our expectations. Chloe is the best ID we have had so far. Great communication, attention to detail, technical expertise, professional project planning and prompt revisions both in planning and works. What is most important is whether she could bring our dreams to fruition. As you can see from the photos; the ones with watermarks are 3D renders and ones without are IRL. Kudos to Chloe for meeting our expectations, the real challenge was completing the works while we were mostly living in the dwelling. Thanks Chloe for your great effort. We will engage your services again when we have a new vision in the future.

We engaged Emily Neo for our home renovation and have had a positive experience overall. She has a pleasant and friendly personality, and her strong focus on customer service has been evident throughout the process. She has been dedicated in supporting us from start to finish, and rectification works were attended to promptly upon request. We had ideas of what we wanted and she supported us in executing the design based on our preferences. While there may be hiccups along the way which are part and parcel of any renovation, she made every effort to work through them with us which we really appreciate. We were referred to Joash Ng by a friend, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we made for our home renovation. Derrius is the ID for our new BTO, he was recommended to us and due to the short time frame we had, we quickly secured him and the project started. He was very prompt in responding to our questions and doubts, knowledgeable and patient gentleman. We wanted our house to run a retro look and had a few variations here and there. His knowledge and experience provided us with great insights for decision making. After the design was finalised, the renovation process was very smooth, the coronation work he did was fantastic too, very different from my previous renovation experience. The outcome of the house was very much what we had planned on paper. With his detailed guidance, we managed to put the house together. Different from my assumptions that ID may be very costly or pushy, he was so so nice and never tried to hard push anything that doesn’t suit the house nor our budget. It was great joy working with him and his team. Not only the materials used were of superb quality, the team is so trust worthy and professional! My wife and I approached three renowned interior design companies to provide us with their design concept. We decided to engage Germaine Neo from Weiken without too much hesitation after going through their design. When we first met her, we were a little skeptical in respect to her ability as she is just way too young and therefore lacking in experience and knowledge, I guess. However, we were proven wrong as she is an excellent ID because she brings creativity, attention to detail and a profound understanding of design principles when she went through her design concept with us. In addition, she has a knack for understanding our needs and translating them into designs that exceed our expectations. It’s common to encounter “hiccups” during the renovation phase, due to our negligence of course, and these can range from minor inconveniences to major setbacks. The great thing about Germaine is that she has this ability to cushion major ones and make them seem negligible. She is a very well-organized person based on how she planned the execution of the activities that involved in the renovation work, and she would update us on the progress on a regular basis. As far as I can remember, we didn’t once set in to check on the renovation work on site, apart from meeting the electrical guy, smart home guy…etc, during the renovation phase and that demonstrates our faith and trust in her. In addition, she was prompt in responding to our enquiries the whole week even when she was having her vacation. I think it is very unfortunate of her to have us as her clients.

In short, Germaine is a very organized, responsible and creative whom we have a positive interpersonal relationship with and it’s our blessing to have her as our ID. We have this belief that she will do well as an interior designer and beyond if she stays committed. We are also very thankful to have Emily Neo who functions as the site coordinator for our renovation activities. She was always there when we needed assistance.

The overall style of the living room and bedroom is mainly modern and simple, with soft tones, wooden floors and warm lighting design, creating a quiet and comfortable living environment. I especially like the design of the tatami area. It achieved the results we wanted based on our needs and also equipped it with hidden light strips, which creates a full atmosphere when turned on at night. The color tone of the wall matches the furniture well, and the overall vision is harmonious.

The kitchen adopts a modern design in black and gray tones, which is visually high-end and practical. The cabinets and storage space are very well planned, and the work surface is clean and spacious, making it very easy to use. Joash Ng specially considered the convenience of storage when designing, making the kitchen both beautiful and practical. The black refrigerator blends perfectly with the overall color scheme, and the glass door design can maintain the independence of the space without making the kitchen look too closed. The design of the room cabinets and toilets were all what we expected. Joash helped us introduce the supplies we bought and they were very cost-effective.

The details in the construction were well handled, the wooden floors were laid neatly, and the walls were evenly painted without flaws. The lighting design is just right, not only meeting the needs of daily use, but also creating a warm atmosphere at night. Electrical appliances, sockets, switches, etc. are installed in reasonable locations and are very convenient to use.

Throughout the entire renovation process, Joash Ng’s service was very professional, communication was smooth, and he was able to quickly understand our needs and provide suitable solutions. Whether it is suggestions on design concepts or coordination during the construction process, he is very patient and responsible to ensure that the final effect meets expectations.
