Jake was our interior designer for our BTO renovation, and we can’t recommend him enough. From the very start of material selection, he was incredibly patient — we went back and forth many times on laminate finishes and he’d get us physical samples, take photos in different lighting, and give honest opinions on contrast and how things would actually look in our unit rather than just agreeing with whatever we suggested. His technical knowledge really stood out during the electrical and plumbing planning — he walked us through lighting plan options, explained trade-offs clearly (e.g. fan-light vs track lighting costs, basin depth vs counter space, why a socket box would protrude on an external wall), and always gave practical, honest advice instead of just upselling. He was also very transparent with quotations, promptly revising and deducting costs when we removed items from scope (like the service yard box-up), and coordinated smoothly with all our external vendors — aircon installer, electrician, and tiler — keeping us updated with site photos throughout. Response time was excellent; he replied to our questions almost any time of day, even late at night. Overall a smooth, well-communicated renovation experience with someone who genuinely cares about getting the details right. Highly recommended!
