We had hoped for an airy, functional Japandi style—simple Scandinavian lines combined with warm Japanese calm—and Jovi exceeded our expectations in bringing our vision to reality.
Design
Jovi took the time to learn about our lifestyle, storage habits and color scheme before presenting an considerate mood board and 3-D drawings.
He balanced laminates colours and accents well to achieve the perfect minimalist but cozy ambiance.
Subtle touches—like hidden shoe storage along the genkan-like entrance and a raised tatami reading nook—showed meticulous attention to Japandi details.
Project coordination
• Jovi handled all the trades: painters, electricians, carpenters and even the curtains supplier. His tight scheduling meant no days off and the job finished a week ahead of schedule.
